Rule #1: Each Message Stands Alone

• Never say "following up on my previous message"
• Each message should provide new value
• Don't reference what you said before
• Make each message feel like the first

Rule #2: Be Relentlessly Persistent

"Everything is in the follow-up. Always keep it simple stupid and always follow up."

Her approach:

• Follow up 3-4 times minimum
• Don't take first "no" as final answer
• Keep providing value with each touch
• Only stop when they explicitly tell you to
